Occupational Therapist and
Clinical Director
Katie Hinsey
Katie Hinsey, MS, OTR/L, has been working with children, teens, and families for over 20 years. She has worked in homes, communities, schools, clinics, and mental and behavioral health facilities supporting a wide variety of people to feel successful in their chosen daily activities. Using a neurodiverse and trauma-informed approach, Katie prioritizes relationship building and utilizes each person’s and families’ goals to direct any care and support she provides. She brings compassion, creative problem-solving, and curiosity to each relationship. Additionally, Katie has experience in yoga and caregiver research, program development, and enjoys learning from and working with other OTs to support professional growth.
Outside of work, she is frequently taking photos, spending time in her garden, doing yoga, playing video games, traveling, or hiking. She enjoys time with her friends and family and making each other laugh.
Operations Manager
Natalie Curie
Natalie is a graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder with degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience. Her professional background in hospitality and business management has provided her with a wide range of skills that she is excited to share with Blume Kids Therapy. She strives to create positive changes surrounding our society’s current understanding and approach to the neurodiverse community.
Natalie is also passionate about holistic wellness and sustainability practices. Outside of work you can find her searching for her new favorite book, trying new recipes, and spending time with her loved ones.
Lead Occupational Therapist
Deanna bourgeois
Deanna, OTD, OTR/L, is a licensed Occupational Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University and her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Her professional interests include supporting children’s sensory processing and self-regulation, specifically within the neurodivergent community. Her passion lies in cultivating environments where children feel competent, validated, and empowered. She uses her position to advocate for the needs of neurodivergent children and improve caregiver education and understanding of neurodiversity throughout pediatric practice.
In her free time, she can be found reading, at the gym, crocheting her next project, or snuggling with her pup.
Lead Speech-Language Pathologist
Bailey Majeski
Bailey Majeski, M.A., CCC-SLP, brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to her work at Blume. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Special Education from Saint Louis University, as well as a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from George Washington University.
Bailey’s professional journey has been in many settings (i.e., early intervention, public/private schools, specialized education programs, and outpatient clinics), providing her with a range of experiences working with neurodiverse children. Bailey employs a holistic and comprehensive approach that is tailored to the child's specific strengths and interests. She draws on insights from families to develop a play-based treatment plan that fosters functional communication development in any or multiple modalities. Bailey strives to empower every child by equipping them with the tools and confidence to express themselves fully, all while honoring and celebrating the remarkable qualities that they contribute to the world.
Outside of her professional life, Bailey is passionate about holistic wellness and art. She enjoys exploring new restaurants, cooking, crafting/painting, and traveling.

Evan hunter blumenthal
Evan Hunter Blumenthal, M.S., OTR/L is a licensed occupational therapist and the visionary for Blume Kids Therapy. She earned her Masters degree from Tufts University in Boston.

Evan has supported kids who have a variety of diagnoses, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, Down Syndrome, PTSD, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, ataxia, and more. She is passionate about highlighting her clients' strengths and meeting them where they are.

In her free time, Evan loves exploring the outdoors with her family and friends.

Kelli mabe
Kelli Mabe, COTA/L, has been working with children and families with complex needs for over 20 years. Her passion for strengths-based occupational therapy began after studying the impact of adversity in children while in college. Through her observation and current neuroscience research, she noticed how children are empowered to overcome challenges and acquire new skills most effectively through attuned, holistic modalities which emphasize play, mindfulness and curiosity.

Utilizing a neurodiversity-affirming lens, Kelli facilitates effective interventions for clients and their families through collaborative, evidence-based, multidisciplinary approaches. Helping individuals discover their innate gifts while emphasizing the strengths of neurodevelopmental differences brings her the greatest joy.

When not at work, Kelli can be found listening to music, chasing hot springs, collecting rocks, practicing yoga, and adventuring through the beautiful state of Colorado she is proud to call home.

Chelsea Marquette
Chelsea Marquette, COTA/L is a compassionate, strengths-based practitioner with a background in preschool education and pediatric occupational therapy. With approximately 10 years of experience working with children and their caregivers, Chelsea brings a unique blend of skills to her practice.

Chelsea has training in trauma-informed care and has spent the last year immersed in sensory processing training at the STAR Institute.
​
Chelsea values a collaborative approach with her clients, their caregivers, and the therapy team. She is passionate about fostering joyful child-led sessions in safe and playful environments that support development through a strength-based neurodiversity-affirming lens. She also enjoys forming and leading groups that create a sense of belonging, develop confidence, and expand self-advocacy skills.

Outside the clinic, Chelsea enjoys soaking up sunshine, exploring museums, playing video games, and spending time with family, friends, and her cat Pawlie.
Occupational Therapist
Jeanne Schutz
Jeanne always says that she has the best job in the world because she gets to play all day! Jeanne has been an occupational therapist for 20 years and has expertise in the areas of feeding/swallowing, NICU, Autism spectrum disorder, and sensory processing.

Her passion is helping parents gain a better understanding as to why their child might be experiencing challenges with activities of daily living. She believes that parents are the best teachers for their children and aims to provide “tools for your toolbox” so you feel as confident while you promote your child’s unique development.
​
Jeanne received her Bachelor of Science in Community Health with a focus on Health Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Rush University in her hometown of Chicago.
Outside of work, you’ll find Jeanne hiking, skiing, making travel plans, and trying to keep up with her son, the other true joy of her life.
Occupational Therapist
Madison Dewey
Madison Dewey, OTD, OTR/L received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with minors in Psychology and Disability Studies from the University of Utah and her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis.
​
Madison is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed care. She conducted her doctoral capstone project on the relationship between developmental trauma and neurodivergence in pediatric populations. She takes a child-led, strengths-based approach to facilitate growth and foster confidence in her clients.
​
Madison also has experience in program development and research related to caregiver coaching and parental mental health. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive services that promote health and wellness for the child, their caregiver(s), and their family unit as a whole.

In her free time, Madison can be found hiking, skiing, or paddle boarding in the mountains, trying new coffee shops, attempting to keep her houseplants alive, and spending time with her golden retriever, Aspen.
Speech-Language Pathologist
Elise Ritter
Elise Ritter, MA, CCC-SLP, is a licensed speech-language pathologist. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado - Boulder and a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Elise has worked with individuals across a wide range of settings, including early intervention, in-home services, public schools, inpatient hospital facilities, and outpatient clinics. She approaches each child and family through a collaborative, strengths-based lens, with a deep commitment to creating positive, empowering relationships. Elise focuses on fostering meaningful connections that celebrate the child’s unique strengths and interests, integrating these into individualized treatment plans designed to promote engagement and growth. She believes in a whole-child, holistic approach to speech-language therapy, drawing on insights from both the child and their family creates engaging, meaningful, and joy-filled interactions through play-based therapy.

Her goal is to ensure that every child she works with feels seen, heard, and valued for who they are, and equipped with the tools to thrive.
​
Outside of the clinic, Elise enjoys the outdoors, taking advantage of Colorado’s beautiful landscapes by hiking, skiing, running, and mountain biking. She’s also an avid musician, loves trying new recipes, and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Gus.
Administrative Assistant
Anna Herx
Anna is a full-time student at the University of Colorado Boulder studying psychology and integrative physiology. She has a background in childcare and education, and has a passion for working with young kids. Following her undergraduate education, Anna plans on attending graduate school to pursue a career in pediatric occupational therapy.

Outside of work, Anna loves listening to music, spending time with friends, doing artwork, and enjoying the outdoors.
Administrator
MAX BLUMENTHAL
Max focuses on administration and marketing for Blume Kids Therapy. As a former entrepreneur, Max brings a business background to the company and its operations. In previous roles, Max has led marketing, operations, sales, and finance within financial services technology companies.
When not working, Max enjoys hiking, running, trying to get better at cooking, and spending time with his family.
